Frequently asked questions

What counts as an outcome?

An outcome is a resolution, when the agent answers the customer to their satisfaction, or a clean hand-off, when the agent passes the conversation to a human with full context. You pay for the work a person would have done. You do not pay for misfires.

Will a clean hand-off outcome get billed when an end user explicitly asked for a human?

Yes. Hand-overs are billed as an outcome. Think of it as a support member getting the same question: if they are asked to refer to another team member, the ticket handling still comes at a small cost.

What is the difference between Flex and Fixed?

Flex is €0.99 per outcome with a 100-outcome monthly minimum, 10 team seats, 5 audiences, and email support. Best for variable demand and teams testing the waters. Fixed is €1,999 per month with 5,000 outcomes included, 50 team seats, unlimited audiences, all Flex modules bundled, SLA, dedicated support, a named account manager, a Slack channel, and a free four-week guided onboarding pilot when you start. Best for regulated buyers, finance teams, and procurement-led organizations.

What is included on both plans?

Both plans include the full platform: Living Knowledge with the auto-generated Help Center (subject to a fair-use cap), Living Memory, and Living Context. The Customer Agent, the Team Assistant, EU data residency, the Privacy Vault, and the per-decision audit trail are part of both plans.

What are the Flex modules?

Flex modules are productized add-ons. Onboarding is a €2,499 one-off. Premium support with a Slack channel and bi-weekly check-ins is €299 per month. Live chat integration, the CSAT module, and the SLA module are each €99 per month. Modules are à la carte on Flex and bundled into Fixed.

What happens if I outgrow the 100-outcome floor on the Flex plan?

If you outgrow the minimum number of outcomes, you will be charged per additional outcome at the Flex rate of €0.99 per outcome. This is calculated per month. In other words, there is a minimum charge of €99 per month, but you get 100 outcomes included. Any extra outcomes are charged monthly.

Is the free pilot available on both plans?

The free four-week guided onboarding pilot is part of the Fixed plan. We run it on your own data, configure the agent across the moment you want to start with, and report the numbers back at the end. Pay annually up front and you get an extra month free. Flex customers go through the same onboarding path today, just without the free pilot bundled. Self-serve onboarding on Flex is on the roadmap.

Does starting the free pilot commit us to the 12-month Fixed term?

No. The pilot ends with a go or no-go decision based on your own numbers. If you stop there, you owe nothing. If you continue, the 12-month term starts from go-live, not from the pilot kickoff.

Can I switch from Flex to Fixed?

Yes. Most customers who start on Flex move to Fixed once the volume justifies the predictable budget or once procurement asks for SLAs and a named account manager. Fixed has a 12-month minimum, so we talk through the timing together. Mid-term switches from Flex to Fixed are straightforward.

What if our organization is larger than the published plans?

We offer group discounts, multi-entity rollouts, and a whitelabel partner model for groups with several subsidiaries, the way the Visma Group runs Unless across 30+ companies. For custom development, connectors, or consultancy, Unless Studio works by the hour and is never bundled. Talk to us about a tailored arrangement.

Two plans. You choose.

Pick the plan that matches how your finance team thinks. Both pay only for the work the agent actually delivers.
